Do I use my doctor's order to purchase labs on Grassroots Labs?

No, you do not need your doctors order to purchase labs on Grassroots Labs (GRL). This is because when one purchases labs through GRL, we create a new order from a licensed physician in the customer's state, who is part of our physician oversight team.

Any orders provided by a customer's doctor is helpful in selecting the correct tests to purchase on GRL, but it is not required to either purchase or visit the lab.

GRL Customers with an order from their own doctor are encouraged to leave that order at home when visiting the testing center and taking their GRL order instead. It may also be prudent when visiting the testing center to provide your GRL order and let the testing center staff know that one would like to have their GRL order filled.
