Lab tests requested through Grassroots Labs must be ordered by a licensed physician in the state where the customer requesting the lab test resides. The customer’s request, even if it shows as an “order” is not an actionable order until reviewed and approved by an appropriate physician. Grassroots Labs contracts with a nationwide service for independent physician review of customers’ requests for lab services, whose physicians can review the requests for lab services and approve them as orders to be fulfilled according to the physician’s determination.
Once a lab test is ordered by the physician, fulfilled and results are communicated to the customer, it is up to the customer to review the results or any questions they may have with their own healthcare professional. Grassroots Labs does not have a service to connect you with a physician to review the lab results after a lab test is completed.
